The iPhone X(10) will be out on the 3rd of November. Oh wait, that’s today. We can call the iPhone X, iPhone 10 because X is the Roman numeral for 10, just as how I is 1 and II is 2. I’m sure many people will be queueing outside the Apple Store. 

苹果10即将在11月三号出来。等等，那不就是今天吗？我们可以叫苹果x苹果10因为x是罗马数字里的10，就好像I是1，II是2。肯定会有很多人在苹果店外面排队。

A friend told me,“I don’t really need a new phone, but I’m going to buy the I10 because all my friends will have it”. What do we call this type of 跟风? We can say “jump on the bandwagon”. Bandwagon means 车队，so when you see everyone in the 车队 walking together, you want to “jump on”. That’s how this phrase came about. You might be asking,“how come there’s no iPhone 9. It’s because it’s the iPhone’s 10th anniversary!

有个朋友告诉我，“其实我不需要新手机，但是身边的人都会有苹果10所以我也只好跟着买。这种跟风我们叫什么？我们可以说“jump on the bandwagon”. Bandwagon 是车队，所以当你看到所有人都在车队一起走，你也想jump上去。就这样多了一个新短语。对了，你可能问，为什么没有苹果9，直接从8跳到10？是因为今年是苹果手机十周年！
